Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach used to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree.

By understanding the basic principles of behavior, WLC teachers can teach new skills and increase behaviors that include communication, social skills, and functional living skills while decreasing maladaptive behaviors such as noncompliance, physical aggression, self-injury, and tantrums.
Here at WLC, reinforcement strategies are used to motivate the child while continuously measuring their progress to create and modify an individualized treatment plan.
ACADEMIC TUTORING
Using the ABA approach, WLC teachers can help with your child's Reading, Writing, and Phonics through one-on-one tutoring. We also provide assistance regarding their school homework or lesson modules.
PLAYGROUP
WLC provides your child a place to play and socialize while also preparing and equipping them with the basic skills necessary for school.
With an individualized education program (IEP), our teachers can help your child develop sitting tolerance and improve their attention and concentration, while also modifying inappropriate behaviors.
The Playgroup will also be a place for your child to develop reading and pre-writing skills.

Our vision is to empower students with learning disabilities and differences to recognize and optimize their potential throughout their lives by prescriptively addressing identified areas of academic and/or behavioral deficits through the use of evidence-based practice that focuses on closing learning gaps and preparing our students for the future.
